Boys draw with Universitario (1-1) at the Monumental

The match on Sunday, April 24 was not the best presentation for Universitario. The merengues once again dropped points as hosts and couldn't get more than a minimum draw against Sport Boys at the Monumental. Despite a partial advantage, the cream team showed some defensive errors and couldn't collect three points at home.

After a first half with few goal opportunities, in the second half, the situation was different and the cream team found the first goal thanks to a header from Álex Valera. Although everything indicated a superiority, the Missilera took the offensive. It was Jostin Alarcón who took advantage of a rebound left by José Carvallo. With the equality, the student team remained in eighth place in the tournament, while Juan Alayo's team remains in the relegation zone.
