Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines recently, but not for scoring great goals or saving his team, but for an off-field incident after the match against Everton, which the Red Devils lost.
At the end of the match, the Portuguese player was caught on camera taking a fan's phone and throwing it on the ground. However, the incident didn't end there as the problem escalated.
"Jake was in a state of complete shock. He is autistic and also has dyspraxia, so he didn't fully process what was happening until he got home," said Sarah Kelly, the mother of the 14-year-old boy named Jake, to the Liverpool ECHO channel.

"He filmed all the United players walking and then lowered the phone because Ronaldo had pulled down his sock and his leg was bleeding. He didn't even speak," Kelly explained.
As a result, the Merseyside Police took action, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. "When the players were leaving the field around 2:30 p.m., it was reported that a child was assaulted by one of the visiting team members as they left the field," the officers said.

"Investigations are ongoing and officers are currently working with Everton to review CCTV (video) footage and extensively seeking witnesses to establish if a crime has been committed," the authorities continued.

Furthermore, 'CR7' addressed Jake with an invitation: "I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite the fan to a match at Old Trafford as a sign of sportsmanship."
