César Vallejo defeated Sporting Cristal 2-0 at Mansiche Stadium in Trujillo for the ninth matchday of the Liga 1 Betsson 2022. After the match, Carlos Ascues, one of the main figures of the poets, declared for Gol Peru and expressed his joy for achieving a victory with nine players.
"We knew it was going to be difficult, even more so with two players less, but we managed the game well and thanks to God we were able to win the three points," he said.
