After the release of some images last week, showing footballer Jesús Barco at a private party for Melissa Klug's birthday, breaking all biosecurity protocols, the Sport Boys club has spoken out about it.
Through a post on their official Twitter account, the pink team confirmed that they have initiated a disciplinary process against the 24-year-old midfielder. "Club Sport Boys Association informs our pink fans, subscribers, media, and the general public that player Jesús Barco has been subjected to a disciplinary process," the statement reads.
The publication also specifies that these measures are being taken to safeguard the health of the rest of the Chalaco team's players while the corresponding investigations continue.
Apology
Previously, the former player of Universitario de Deportes and partner of Melissa Klug used his social media to apologize to the pink fans and the pink institution. "This will not happen again and from now on, only positive things will be heard about me and for the good of the team," he said.
However, he specified that the party was held for the birthday of someone very dear to the footballer (his current partner) and only their family members and some friends were present, complying with the respective protocols.
