The transfer market continues to move and, among those who arrive and leave, Sporting Cristal officially announced the departure of Marcos Riquelme from their team through a farewell message on their social media.
"Thank you for your dedication, Marcos! You always showed your commitment, professionalism, and eagerness in every match. Best of luck!" reads the publication made by the Rimense squad along with an image of the Argentine forward.
As it is recalled, Marcos Riquelme joined the "cervecero" team in February 2021 in search of a foreign striker after the departure of Emanuel Herrera. Throughout this season's Liga 1, Riquelme managed to score eight times.
Regarding reinforcements in Roberto Mosquera's team, in addition to the ongoing discussions with Paraguayan Derlis Aquino, the Celestes are going after another forward, Franco Zanelatto, as RPP has learned, who has played for Universidad San Martín in recent campaigns.
