Manchester United and Arsenal face each other this Thursday at Old Trafford for the fourteenth matchday of the Premier League, a match in which the 'Red Devils' seek to leave behind their poor results in the competition.
However, the home team quickly found themselves in an adverse situation, as before the quarter-hour mark they were already behind on the scoreboard.
After a corner kick in favor of the 'gunners', Brazilian player Fred appeared in the small area and stepped on goalkeeper David De Gea. The impact was such that the Spanish player fell to the ground, holding the affected area, despite the ball still being in play.
Thus, the ball reached the feet of Emile Smith Rowe, who struck from outside the area and sent it into the goal, where there was no opposition from David De Gea.
Manchester United claimed the action, however, after VAR review, it was determined that there was no foul by Arsenal against De Gea.
