Ignacio Fernández had a dream debut with River's shirt. He played his first game against Boca and was one of the standout players of the Superclásico, along with Leandro Pisculichi and Eder Álvarez Balanta.

The former midfielder of Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata spoke to the press about his feelings after the game.

"Everyone dreams of making their debut, playing well, and winning, so I am calm. I think I have many things to improve and I will try to give my best to the team. I want to earn a spot and keep learning", stated Fernández.
