Alianza Lima Extends Glorious Moment to 2022
As the celebration for Alianza Lima's title grows, elements like Jairo Concha project to extend the moment of glory until 2022, a time in which he hopes to excel not only in Liga 1 but also in the Copa Libertadores.
When asked about his future, the 22-year-old midfielder confirmed that he will continue under the leadership of Carlos Bustos in the new season of Peruvian football.
"I am staying at Alianza Lima to play in the Copa Libertadores, it is a very beautiful tournament and we have to prepare very well to raise the name of Peru," he stated to GolPerú.
Furthermore, the former San Martín player referred to the commitment he had against the Rimense team, with whom he was able to become champion of Liga 1 2021 after going through a tough period due to his injury.
"It was a very difficult match, Sporting Cristal came at us with everything, but as we did throughout the year, we managed to keep a clean sheet in our goal and thanks to God we became champions," he said.
Jairo Concha added: "Thank God I recovered from a complicated injury, but with a strong mindset, I joined a great team and in my first year, I was able to become a champion. The support of family is always very important."
