The national title won by Alianza Lima aroused many emotions in its most loyal fans; especially for those who were in the worst moments in the club's history, like that 2020 when the 'íntimos' lost their category against Sport Huancayo on November 28th.

One of the most loyal fans of the team from La Victoria is José Carlos Fernández. The current striker for Carlos Mannucci has expressed his love for the institution on many occasions, and this day could not go unnoticed for him. Through his social media, the popular 'Zlatan' sent a greeting to the team after they became national champions.

"Congratulations, Club Alianza Lima, for the championship. A demonstration of resilience and greatness," 'Zlatan' expressed on his Twitter account.

'Zlatan' arrived at Alianza Lima in 2009 after terminating his contract with Cercle Brugge from the Belgian league. In his first year, he scored three goals in 35 matches. However, the best moment, both in his career and with the blanquiazul team, came in 2010 when he was the star player of the memorable Copa Libertadores of the same year. The Trujillo-born forward scored seven goals in eight games and was the second top scorer of the tournament, as well as the ninth best scorer in the world, according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

In 2011, his contribution to the team from La Victoria was almost non-existent due to an injury; however, in 2012 he was another one of the figures of Alianza Lima and scored the only goal with which the 'íntimo' team won their last victory in the Libertadores (against Nacional de Uruguay 1-0).
