All in Time has a Solution
Unexpectedly and surprisingly, Los Angeles Lakers achieved a .500 record in the NBA 2021-22 season with 8 wins and 8 losses. One of the most criticized players has been Russell Westbrook and expert analysts proposed a trade to move him out of the team in exchange for a former teammate of LeBron James.
Anthony Davis didn't hesitate to confess that he doesn't feel completely comfortable playing as a center (5) for the Lakers, so the Clutch Points portal proposed a trade to bring in a big man, who won a championship with LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, to the Californian franchise.
The name in question is none other than Kevin Love, who is rumored to join the Lakers, but the deal hasn't been finalized due to the high salary of the center, $31,258,256 million dollars. Will this trade for Russell Westbrook happen? In the NBA world, anything can happen...
"Love has one more year on his contract after this season, but a buyout arrangement (losing money to leave the current team) for two years is not impossible, just look at Blake Griffin. Love comes off the bench and only plays 20 minutes per game for Cleveland. It makes more sense for them to save some money as no team is going to trade for that contract," stated Jason Reed from Fan Sided.
The Trade for Lakers to Move Westbrook and Sign Kevin Love
If the Los Angeles Lakers want to go for Kevin Love, they could make a one-for-one trade that would send Russell Westbrook to the Cleveland Cavaliers, bringing together LeBron James with a player who has already won a championship with 'The King.'
