In an interview with Ovación, the Uruguayan strategist referred to the continuity of some players and clarified that former Alianza Lima footballers Carlos Ascues and Alberto Rodríguez will not be part of the Sullana team.
“Marcio Valverde's situation is already a fact and I'm happy because he is a homegrown player. We are putting together a team with a mix of young players and experienced players. Regarding the players who will be part of the team next season, he said: “Alberto Rodríguez and Carlos Ascues will not continue at the club. Of the two Colombians (Lugo and Perlaza), Kevin Lugo is the one who will stay with the team.”
