Marvel Studios recently revealed the change of dates for the release of their new movies, since, due to the new coronavirus pandemic, some premieres had to be rescheduled so they are not affected. In that sense, the MCU will continue working to bring the best content for all superhero lovers.
However, after the red carpet event held for Eternals - a movie that will be released on November 5th - the company hinted that they would be looking for a way to produce a new solo adventure for Hulk, with Mark Ruffalo's interpretation of the lovable green monster.
In this way, and after having a notable participation in several films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ruffalo would lead a production that would adapt the comic World War Hulk, which would fit into either Phase 4 or Phase 5 of the MCU.
In response to this, the report revealed by Geeks WorldWide states that Marvel president Kevin Feige is aiming for the start of production to take place in 2022, with a release date in 2023 or early 2024.
What is World War Hulk?
World War Hulk is a Marvel comic event in which the titular character faces some of the most well-known superheroes, such as Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Black Bolt, among others. The green giant's crusade against them began when they devised a plan to take him off the planet, believing that he was a disaster about to happen and that it would be better to send him somewhere where Earth would be safe from his destructive potential.
