Entel reported that it will increase its service fees for all its customers, as they are not in a good economic situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the devaluation of the Peruvian currency. This was confirmed by a representative of the telecommunications company.
According to the announcement, the increase will be 3 soles for everyone, and the conditions and benefits of the service will remain the same without affecting any purchased plan or its cost.
"Due to the current situation, where the country's economy has been affected by the pandemic and additionally our currency is being devalued, aspects that generate impacts on the operational costs to maintain our network and service channels optimal, we inform you that we are making changes in our commercial offer," reads the communication sent to their customers.
It was known that the increase in the Entel service fee will take place from November 3 of this year, and notifications are being sent to all customers to take the necessary precautions.

The renowned newspaper La República contacted the company to obtain their official version and was able to confirm this increase in their tariff plans.
"We have found it necessary to make a general increase of 3 soles for all our customers. It is important to highlight that we will attend to any requirement or plan change from our customers through our service channels," stated the representatives of Entel to La República.
