The Peruvian forward Claudio Pizarro does not believe in friendly matches and on Wednesday he scored the only goal with which his club, Werder Bremen, defeated Inter Baku from Azerbaijan in an international friendly.

The Peruvian striker, who started the match, had some goal opportunities during the first half, although he did not manage to beat the visiting goal.
Before the end of the first half, the German team put together a good collective play that ended in a spectacular volley by Pizarro that turned into a goal and sealed the victory for his team in Turkey, the venue of the lizards' preseason.
