The RCD Espanyol acquires 100% of Dimata, Vadillo, and Miguelón
The newly crowned LaLiga SmartBank champions, RCD Espanyol, acquired on Wednesday the full federative rights of Belgian striker Landry Dimata, midfielder Álvaro Vadillo, and right-back Miguel Llambrich 'Miguelón'. The first of them is the most valuable of the three Pericos players.
The three footballers were on loan at Espanyol until now. However, the agreements with their former clubs included a mandatory purchase option in case of promotion to LaLiga, which has finally been executed by the Catalan entity.
According to RCD Espanyol's statement, starting from July 1, Dimata, coming from Anderlecht, Vadillo, who arrived from Celta de Vigo, and Miguelón, formerly of Villarreal CF, will be fully-fledged players of the Periquito club.
RCD Espanyol must pay around 4.5 million euros
Among the three purchase options, Espanyol must pay around 4.5 million euros. Only for Vadillo, Celta will receive an amount of 1.8 million euros, as pointed out a few weeks ago by La Voz de Galicia.
Likewise, Anderlecht will receive 2.2 million euros for the Belgian striker, while 500,000 euros will be paid for the right-back.
