Amidst their worst crisis in the Andrés Lillini era, the Pumas de la UNAM have finally received some good news this Tuesday.

Sources confirmed to ESPN that Juan Ignacio Dinenno has been given the medical clearance after a muscle injury that kept him out since January 17 when he suffered a grade 2 tear in the left hamstring in the match against Mazatlán FC.

Dinenno will be able to train alongside his teammates and participate in practice this Tuesday at 4 PM in Cantera.

The original recovery prognosis was four weeks, and the Argentine forward has fully complied with it, which indicates that he may have minutes against Club León next Sunday, although coach Andrés Lillini doesn't want to risk a relapse.

The Pumas have only achieved one victory in six matchdays of the Torneo Guard1anes 2021, while in the last four matches, they have one draw and three losses.

Dinenno has been greatly missed by the feline team in attack, as the Pumas have gone five matches without scoring at the start of the tournament.

León and Pumas were the finalists in the last tournament, the Guard1anes 2020.
