Premier League leaders Liverpool came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday and extend their winning run to 13 games in the competition.
The visitors took the lead with a goal from Harry Kane in the first minute of the game. However, Liverpool responded quickly and equalized through Jordan Henderson in the 6th minute.
The winning goal came in the 75th minute when Mohamed Salah scored from the penalty spot after Serge Aurier was penalized for a handball in the box.
Liverpool's victory extends their lead at the top of the table to 16 points ahead of second-placed Leicester City. Tottenham, on the other hand, remains in 8th place.
The Reds will now turn their attention to the FA Cup, where they will face Shrewsbury Town in the fourth round on Tuesday.
