The Guayaquil native Emiliano Linares will challenge the Quito-born Alberto Jarrín in the main event of QFC 11, a duel for the featherweight (66kg) title.
The 23-year-old from Porteño seeks to prevail against the 33-year-old from the capital, considered the top exponent in that weight category in Ecuador.
This is the most anticipated fight of 2020, said members of the organization of the event to EL UNIVERSO.
The eleventh edition of QFC (Quito Fight Club) will take place this afternoon and evening at the DirecTV studios in Quito.
According to the program, there are four preliminary matches and six main event matches. The co-main event will be starred by Maurilio Álava and Colombian César León in a lightweight duel.
Linares and Jarrín will contend in five rounds.
The event will be available for international viewers via streaming on Facebook and the main fights will be televised on channels 610/1610 HD by DirecTV.
The QFC organization returns to Quito after two editions held in Guayaquil, QFC 9 and QFC 10.
