Ayacuchanos make history in Peruvian football. The Ayacucho FC team drew 1-1 in 120 minutes with Sporting Cristal, and in the penalty shootout, Gerardo Ameli's team defeated the brewers 3-2 and became the champion of Phase 2 of the Liga 1.

The Ayacuchano team makes history in a campaign that includes their qualification for the Copa Libertadores, and will play the semifinals on December 9th and 12th against Cristal towards the grand final of the national tournament.

Now the 'zorros' and the 'celestes' will clash again, but this time in the semifinals to determine the opponent of Universitario de Deportes in the grand national final.
