According to the Argentine press, the healthcare professional has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in relation to the death of "Pelusa" and could potentially face further charges if found guilty.

It is worth noting that the doctor is being investigated for alleged negligence in Maradona's treatment, following his recent brain surgery for a hematoma, which resulted in his premature discharge.
