The striker will remain in the carbonera institution until December 2021.
After leaving Barcelona SC in early 2019, he was acquired by the Xolos de Tijuana and later loaned to Querétaro, both teams from the Liga MX.
During his second stage at Barcelona, between 2017 and 2018, el Loco did not perform as expected. In 68 matches played between the local championship and international cups, the Argentine scored 14 goals and provided seven assists.
In his last stage in Mexican football with Xolos, he played four matches and did not score. (D)
