Palmeiras presents an offer for Mathías Villasanti
Last night, Palmeiras formally presented an offer to Cerro Porteño for midfielder Mathías Villasanti. The Verdao has shown a concrete interest in the 23-year-old midfielder to strengthen themselves for Brasileirao, Copa Libertadores, and Copa Brasil.

According to journalist Arturo Máximo Rubin from Fútbol a lo Grande, Palmeiras offered Cerro Porteño 3 million dollars for 50% of Mathías Villasanti's transfer rights, but no agreement was reached.
Cerro Porteño valued Villasanti, a current national team player who started in the first two World Cup qualifiers, at 6 million dollars, and the blue and garnet leadership remains firm.
