The Liverpool has made official this Friday the signing of Spanish footballer Thiago Alcántara, from Bayern Munich.
The midfielder has signed a long-term contract with the English club and becomes the second signing of the 'Reds' in this transfer window after the addition of Greek Kostas Tsimikas last August.
Thiago arrives in Liverpool after seven years at Bayern, with whom he won seven Bundesliga titles, four German Cups, and last season's Champions League against Paris Saint Germain.
"I think this is incredible. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time and I am very happy to be here," Thiago said to the club's official media.
"As the years go by, you try to win everything you can and when you win, you try to win even more. I think this club represents me and I want to achieve all our goals and win all the titles possible," added Alcántara, who has already been photographed with the Liverpool shirt, where he will wear number 6.
