Vitória de Guimarães signs Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma
The Vitória de Guimarães announced on Monday the signing of Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma for the next two seasons, with an option for a third.
"Long live the king", wrote the Portuguese club on their official Twitter profile to welcome Quaresma, who has been a free agent since July, when his contract with Turkish side Kasimpasa ended.
Previously, the winger, who will turn 37 this month, played for Besiktas, where he had two spells (2010-2012 and 2015-2019).
Throughout his career, he also played for Sporting, Porto, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, and Al Ahli in the United Arab Emirates.
Quaresma has made 80 appearances and scored 10 goals for the Portugal national team, with whom he won the 2016 European Championship. EFE
