Timo Werner scores goal for Germany in UEFA Nations League
Forward Timo Werner, the new player of Chelsea, opened the scoring with a fantastic goal in the match between the national teams of Germany and Spain, corresponding to the first matchday of Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League.
The attacker, who reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League with RB Leipzig, received the ball from Robin Gosens (Atalanta), got past defender Pau Torres (Villarreal), and beat goalkeeper David De Gea with a cross-shot.
Timo Werner, 24 years old and a product of the youth academy of VfB Stuttgart, left the Manchester United goalkeeper without a reaction. Luis Enrique chose him for the debut of the Spanish national team in the Nations League.
