In the world of tennis, Serbian Novak Djokovic won the Cincinnati Masters 1000 title in the United States, defeating Canadian Milos Raonic in the final by 1-6, 6-3, and 6-4.
The Serbian fulfilled expectations by defeating the Canadian Raonic, ranked 30th in the world, by 1-6, 6-3, and 6-4 to obtain his second title in this North American city and his thirty-fifth Masters 1000 title, the same number accumulated by Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal.
This title is the second one he has won in Cincinnati after winning the first one in 2018 when he defeated Swiss Roger Federer. After his victory, Djokovic received a prize of $285,000 and 1,000 points for the world rankings in professional tennis.
It should be noted that this is Djokovic's 80th title overall and his 35th in the Masters 1000 category.
