Matías Suarez arrived at River Camp on Thursday morning and was able to join the Millonario's training sessions, after a few days of delay due to a outbreak of 30 cases in the neighborhood where he resides in Cordoba.

After testing negative, the attacker began the procedures to travel to Buenos Aires to resume his work, in a few weeks that will be crucial to acclimate the players' physical condition after the break.

The delay prevented him from being present in the training sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so he will be in a different stage of this mini-preseason for a few days.

The provincial government had set up a strong sanitary cordon in the gated community where Suárez has his house in Cordoba, making it difficult to obtain the authorization for his trip to Buenos Aires. Once obtained, he had to travel by land.

On the other hand, River Plate announced that on Wednesday the club paid another $200,000 to Belgrano, in order to calm the waters and prevent the Pirata from filing a complaint with AFA and FIFA for the debt it holds.
