Dortmund sets deadline for Sancho transfer
Borussia Dortmund had set the weekend as a deadline and stated that if not, Sancho would travel with the team to the training camp in Switzerland to prepare for the upcoming season in which he would continue defending the club's colors.
The offer also could not go below 120 million euros and Manchester United, who is considered the main interested party, has not wanted or been able to take that step.
Dortmund's sporting director, Michael Zorc, revealed on Monday that last year Dortmund extended Sancho's contract until 2023 and gave him a raise in a deal that didn't come to light.
"Last summer, we adjusted Jadon's contract to his performance and extended it until 2023," Zorc said.
"We count on him. He will play the next season with us, I think that answers all the questions," he added.
Sancho, 20, arrived at Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017, and the transfer cost the German club around 7 million euros.
Since then, Sancho has become one of the key players for the club and one of the stars of the Bundesliga.
