"I was quarantined in Santa Fe until June 30 because I had a contract with Colón, but then I came to Mendoza to wait for this to pass. The truth is that I was locked up for many months, training at home, it's not easy but there is no other choice. Now I try to enjoy this time with my family and only go out when we are allowed," said the midfielder, whose transfer belongs to Estudiantes and Boca Juniors.
Regarding his return to training, the 28-year-old footballer said: "In the next few days I have to travel and report to City Bell to train. I have already done the COVID-19 test here in Mendoza and I have already sent the results to La Plata. So I am waiting for authorization to be able to travel."
In recent days, possibilities of a transfer to Godoy Cruz de Mendoza and strong interest from Turkey have emerged, to make a loan with a fee and an option. Zuqui stressed that he only focuses on what he has in front of him. "My agent speaks about that matter, I only know that I am a player of Estudiantes and I have my mind set on reporting to training next week and being available to the coaching staff."
"I haven't talked to (Leandro) Desábato yet, we will only talk when we report and see how he intends to use me, and only then will I define my future.
