Mexican footballer Eugenio Pizzuto could join Portuguese football for an optimal adaptation to Europe via Boavista

Mexican midfielder Eugenio Pizzuto could join Portuguese club Boavista on loan. Lille's management team would seek for the former Pachuca player to have an adaptation process to Europe in Portuguese football.

According to Portuguese website 'A Bola', Pizzuto, 18 years old, would be one of the options to reinforce Boavista next season. The Mexican is negotiating his transfer to Lille, a club owned by Gerard López, who is one of the main investors of Boavista.

The Portuguese portal highlights Eugenio as one of the most promising young talents in Mexican football and emphasizes his good performances with the U-17 Mexican National Team in the 2019 World Cup. It is worth mentioning that Pizzuto has Italian heritage, so he will be able to apply for his European passport and not occupy a foreign player spot.

Pizzuto has not been active in the last few months due to a serious injury he suffered in his debut in the Liga MX. In fact, his transfer to the French club would depend largely on his results in the physical tests.
