Quito -
The Spanish Real Valladolid would have Ecuadorian defender Jackson Porozo in their sights, who expressed his desire not to continue in Brazil in June.
From the player's surroundings, they assure that Porozo (19 years old) has a contract with Santos until August 8, but his departure would not be easy, as detailed by Pucela fichajes, which speaks of complications for his transfer "due to the peculiarity of his contract with the Brazilian club."
According to the portal, those close to the player ensure that he will be released next month, but Santos "insists that on that date they can automatically renew him until December 2021 and therefore it would not be free."
In those conditions, the figure that comes into play for the transfer of the center-back is seven million dollars if Valladolid wants to keep him.
Porozo would have a salary of $35,000, but "Santos is studying a salary improvement to compensate the defender for the lack of opportunities in the professional team. This is a request made by the defender's representatives," said the Brazilian portal Gazeta esportiva in June.
In Spain, it was anticipated that Valladolid, where Ecuadorian Stiven Plaza also plays, has already met with Porozo's representative and an agreement has been reached until 2024.
"The key within Real Valladolid is to reach an agreement before August 8 to have fewer problems, but Santos has already indicated that they have priority and that under no circumstances will it be free," says Pucela.
According to Gazeta, "Jackson Porozo's contract expires in December 2021 for Santos and on August 8, 2020, for entrepreneurs. The difference is in one detail: the work visa."
The Brazilian media insists that there is an automatic renewal clause in the contract with the player, whose extension "depends only on the visa, a necessary document for foreigners and valid for one or two years."
Porozo is represented by the UJ Football Talent agency, which in June advanced proposals from European football, something that could not be defined without clear conditions in his contract. (D)
