Friends and colleagues of sports journalist Marcos Hidalgo have come together in prayer to request for his health.
Joselo Sánchez, a communicator who has shared radio and television space with Hidalgo, reported on Sunday, June 28th that 'el doctor' was admitted to a clinic last night after his health deteriorated due to low sodium levels.
"A thrombosis was suspected, but fortunately it was not that. For now, he is sedated but out of danger," Sánchez posted on Twitter .

Jaime Antonio Alvarado, another sports commentator, sent a message of encouragement to Hidalgo through the same social media platform.
"Let's go #Piquito, we still have many games to comment on," he said.

Marcos Hidalgo has extensive experience as a sports commentator, a profession that has taken him to countless football stadiums inside and outside the country.
Journalist Carlos Víctor Morales asked for prayers for 'Piquito', as Hidalgo is known, and for another prominent communicator who is also hospitalized, Paco Álvarez.
"Paco has ups and downs in his complicated health condition," Morales posted on his Twitter account.
