Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho, under house arrest in Paraguay charged with the use of an adulterated passport, is analyzing a possible return to professional soccer and could do it with Gimnasia y Esgrima under Diego Armando Maradona.
According to El Día de La Plata, "people close to Dinho have expressed that one of his great desires would be to make himself available to Diego Maradona at Gimnasia. While there has been no official contact in this regard, the possibility generates hope and a great uncertainty for the future."
"It is something that is being considered in the environment of the Brazilian star and in the orbit of the people around Maradona," adds the aforementioned media, which recalls the time that Mariano Cowen, former candidate for the presidency of Gimnasia, promised to sign Dinho if he was elected.
In 2016, Cowen contacted Ronaldinho's brother and agent and reached an agreement. "It has to do with sports management or marketing management," Cowen said.
Ronaldinho, at 40 years old, retired from soccer in 2015. His career as a professional footballer ended at Fluminense after stints at Gremio, Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona, Milan, Flamengo, Atlético Mineiro, and Querétaro.
