Coach of Nacional: Possibility of Friendly Matches Against Cerro Porteño Before the Restart of the Tournament

The coach of Nacional, Roberto Tiburón Torres, spoke this Monday with Fútbol a lo Grande and among his thoughts, he mentioned the possibility of playing two friendly matches with Cerro Porteño prior to the restart of the Apertura tournament, scheduled for July 17th.

"We have been talking with Arce and on the 4th and 11th we can play the friendlies. One at Cerro's field and another at Nacional's field," commented the coach.

Torres said that there is another communication pending with his counterpart from Cerro Porteño, as the organizational details of the match are still pending. As the chief medical officer of the APF, Gerardo Brunstein, stated, these matches could have all the requirements of an official game in order to test the operational part of the APF's health protocol.

HIGHLIGHTS. Regarding the arrival of Víctor Cáceres to the team, he expressed satisfaction considering the player's hierarchy and mentioned that the player is in shape and without injuries, so they will aim to get him ready in the football aspect.
