Although things even out a bit for Reigns when King Barrett is expelled by the referee, no one expected Roman to win. Not even John Cena would be expected to see him defeating 4 of the top heavyweights in WWE (a task only suitable for someone like Brock Lesnar). These are the kind of results that make many people upset with the way Reigns is being handled.

It is curious that Reigns' Samoan ancestry is recognized so early in his career, that did not happen with his cousin The Rock, who took a long time before being connected with the Samoan family. In this case, Reigns receives help from two of his cousins; The Usos. Possibly the popularity of the Samoan family among fans led WWE to decide to take that path.

Unlike Ernesto, I think the MexAmerica angle was very good, and it is a shame that it was discarded.
