Quito -
Accusations and responses have been following Esteban Paz and Nassib Neme. Epithets and adjectives that "only damage the image of Ecuadorian football," said the director of Liga de Quito, who seeks to put a stop to the exchanges with the head of the blues.
"We should not continue to give more rope to an absurd situation that should not deviate from a difficult, stony path," said Paz, referring to the current situation of national football.
"Paz is an atomic charlatan. He is unacceptable. He looks like a Chilindrina," was the latest thing Neme said about the Aztec director, in a confrontation that intensified last week and had the Chila-Cheme case, former player of the albos, as the center of the discussion.
- Neme against the Paz: "They swore and swore that they did not know the 'Chila-Cheme' case. Hypocrisy of the fourth category!"
"As a person, the attack that Neme has with me, calling me Chilindrina, can no longer be taken seriously because there will continue to be comparisons with Chómpiras and don Ramón," Paz told Mundo Deportivo.
"He (Neme) started this, not me. This does enormous harm to Ecuadorian football because engaging in a discussion where you are compared to Chilindrina is being out of touch," he said.
- Esteban Paz: The reason for the arbitrary decisions of Emelec is never understood
"This must end here, we cannot continue in a dialogue of destruction of Ecuadorian football, following the lead of a person who is clearly going through a difficult mental moment because it is not normal to have this kind of dialogue or discussions comparing with Chilindrina and charlatans," commented the Aztec director.
Paz expressed concern about the environment in which the discussion took place, "a conflict that is not good for anyone in Ecuadorian football, where respect should prevail and try to find solutions to overcome this pandemic problem," said the albo director. (D)
