Arsene Wenger made his name legendary at Arsenal in England, leading the team for 22 seasons. The Frenchman now serves as an ambassador for FIFA and offered an interview where he referred to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he faced during his time with the 'gunner' team.

"We have never seen players like these who can create absolutely in any difficult situation, they are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but I think their reign is coming to an end," Wenger said in an interview with 'Talksport'.

For Arsene Wenger, Cristiano and Messi have been individual dominators of football, although he nominates who he considers their successors. "A new generation is coming and the two successors are playing for the same team, Frenchman Kyllian Mbappé and Brazilian Neymar," said Wenger about the two players from Paris Saint Germain.

Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo is under contract with Juventus in Italy and at 35 years old, he is the top scorer for his team in the seasons, as well as the leading scorer in the history of Real Madrid and the Champions League. Lionel Messi, on the other hand, is approaching 33 years old and is the captain and historic figure of Barcelona, where he has managed to break all scoring records. On an individual level, he has six Ballon d'Or awards, one more than the Portuguese forward.
