Note about Club Libertad
Libertad is one of the few clubs that is up to date with the payment of salaries to the first division team and coaching staff.
The president of the Tuyucuá institution, Rubén Di Tore, confirmed that they will be using the resources provided by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF). "With that money, we will be paying part of the May salary to some players on the team," he revealed.
The money that APF grants to the clubs will go directly into the bank account of each first division player. This resource was made possible thanks to the Conmebol's Evolution program. "We have already submitted the list to the APF people so that the players can receive that money," he explained.
Regarding the return to football, Di Tore indicated that they are awaiting the approval of the health authorities. "If the official authorities give the green light, we have no problem returning to play as soon as possible," he concluded.
