Felipe Melo defends President Bolsonaro and reacts to critics during coronavirus crisis
Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo recently conducted a live stream on Instagram where he addressed questions regarding his contributions to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. During the session, Melo took the opportunity to defend President Jair Bolsonaro.
"I want everyone to understand once and for all, and this is what the Bible says: what one does from the heart doesn't need to be known by others. Why do we have to show what we do if we truly do it from the heart? Is it for influence? Is it for likes? We do it from the heart, not to show it to the world," he said during an Instagram Live.
Felipe Melo also called for an end to the criticism towards Bolsonaro. "We are currently in a moment where we speak ill of the President and the Governor (Joao Doria). It's not the time for that, it's the time to help others," he added.
