BATE is the most successful team (15 national titles) and the most representative of that former Soviet republic in international competitions. However, the league of that country has gained relevance and prominence in recent days because President Alexander Lukashenko supports the decision to keep several sports activities active despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this sense, the unknown for many Vysshaya Liga (also found on Google as the Premier League of Belarus) will continue with the development of the third matchday, starting on Friday, April 3rd, with BATE Borisov urgently needing to secure their first victory of the season.
The leader, FC Minsk, has scored more goals than any other team in the current Vysshaya Liga campaign.
