Before the President of the Republic, Martin Vizcarra, decreed social isolation to stop the new coronavirus, the Peruvian Volleyball Federation announced that the National Superior Volleyball League would be postponed until Friday, March 27, but this will not happen because the quarantine lasts until the end of the month.
"In strict compliance with sanitary regulations, the Peruvian Volleyball Federation will communicate - at the appropriate time - any decision regarding the resumption of all its national championships, training, and administrative activities," reads part of the FPV statement.
The National Superior Volleyball League is led by San Martin University with 40 points.
The teams are conducting remote training with their players, as shared by the San Martin team through their social media.
