The Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV) issues a statement regarding the future of the National Superior League. On March 12, before the national emergency announcement decreed by the government to address the spread of the coronavirus, it was decided to suspend the tournament until Friday, March 27.
However, the governing body of national volleyball announced on Tuesday that the competition will not resume as planned, "in strict compliance with health provisions."
"The FPV will communicate - at the appropriate time - any decision regarding the resumption of all its scheduled championships at the national level, training sessions, and administrative activities," says a part of the statement.
Finally, the Federation urges the public to "stay at home and collaborate in this health emergency situation."
