This afternoon it was announced that Jorge Jesus, coach of Flamengo, tested positive for coronavirus and the messages of support for the Portuguese coach keep coming in.
Among them is one from one of his stars in the team: Gabigol. The Brazilian forward used his social media to send an emotional message to his trainer.
In the post, Gabriel Barbosa shares a photo with Jorge Jesus where they can be seen hugging and writes: "ForçaMister" (Strength Mister), referring to the coach with whom he won the 2019 Copa Libertadores and the 2020 Recopa Sudamericana.
It is worth mentioning that, before it was known that Jorge Jesus had contracted the virus, he had already sent a message claiming that Brazilian football should be halted to reduce the risk: "Football players are not superheroes, I know very well the consequences of what is happening. I have lost a friend due to the coronavirus," he added.
Similarly, the Conmebol Libertadores account used the same phrase, "ForçaMister," as a message of support for the 65-year-old former footballer and Portuguese coach.
