The Disciplinary Commission has opened an investigation into Chivas player Miguel Ponce following the incident he experienced on Thursday with a fan, information advanced by ESPN Digital and later published by the FMF.
"The Disciplinary Commission informs that, based on the provisions of articles 74, 84 and 85 of the Sanctions Regulations, it has decided to open an investigation procedure ex officio against the Player of Club Guadalajara, Mr. Miguel Ángel Ponce Briseño, for the events that occurred on February 20, 2020, during his arrival in Tijuana, B.C., where he apparently had an altercation with a fan. Once this Commission has analyzed the evidence and other documents provided, it will issue the corresponding resolution," states the document.
