One day after Manuel Barreto's farewell from the technical direction, Sporting Cristal issued a statement announcing the departure of Alfonso García Miró from the position of general manager of the club.
"Sporting Cristal informs the public and the media that Mr. Alfonso García Miró is leaving his position as General Manager. Since February 2016, Alfonso has provided all his willingness and professionalism in the pursuit of objectives in favor of our entity," the institution said.
"We thank Alfonso García Miró for the tasks carried out and wish him much success in his future," Sporting Cristal also indicates in the statement released.
