Tyson Fury stepped into Madison Square Garden and conquered it. In the long-awaited rematch against Deontay Wilder, the British fighter won by technical knockout in the seventh round and, thus, obtained the WBC heavyweight championship.

As the fight progressed in the first half, the superiority of Tyson Fury in the actions and the physical wear and tear of Deontay Wilder became evident. While delivering a series of blows in the third round, the referee had to stop the fight and declared the victory for the boxer born in Manchester.

Besides winning the WBC heavyweight title, Tyson Fury achieved something even more important: he ended Deontay Wilder's undefeated streak as a professional. The American fighter had accumulated 42 victories before this fight, although his record was tarnished by the draw between them over a year ago.

-Sebastian Fundora defeated Daniel Lewis by unanimous decision in the super welterweight division.

-Emanuel Navarrete defeated Joe Santisima by technical knockout at 2:20 of the 11th round for the WBO junior featherweight title.

-Charles Martin defeated Gerald Washington by technical knockout at 1:57 of the 6th round for the IBF heavyweight title.

Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury will face each other again for the WBC heavyweight title. At Madison Square Garden in New York, 'The Bronze Bomber' and the English fighter will square off on Saturday, February 22nd at 9:00 p.m. (Peruvian time). The fight will be televised by ESPN.

Both Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury come into this important fight without suffering any losses throughout their careers. It will also be the second time that both boxers face each other, considering that last year they had a great fight that ended in a draw at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
