In the summer of 2015, after realizing that his chances of settling in the first team of FC Barcelona were minimal, young Adama Traoré decided to pack his bags and head to the islands. The winger, who had only managed to play four games with the top-tier team, joined Aston Villa, who paid around €10 million for his signing.

Although the start of his new adventure was by no means easy, the player has finally found his place. After leaving Birmingham's club on bad terms and regaining credit at Middlesbrough, the attacker has completed his maturation process at Wolverhampton, a team with which he is having a more than remarkable season (36 games, 5 goals, and 10 assists).

His progression is so evident that several big clubs on the continent have already shown interest in signing him. Among them, FC Barcelona itself. In fact, information that we find today in the Daily Mail reveals that the club is already considering his signing for the upcoming season. There are no further details about the possible offer from Barcelona, but it is mentioned that Wolves will demand a fairly high amount for a player whose contract extends until June 2023.

A few days ago, Traoré (24 years old) was asked about a hypothetical return to Camp Nou and he did not hesitate to assure that he would have no problems returning to his origins. "My intention is to be one of the best players in England and then of course I would like to return. And to Barcelona? I have no ill feelings towards Barcelona. Why not? If Madrid or Barcelona come, I would consider it," he said.
