The 10 clubs that have spent the most in January

  • Hertha Berlin: 78M€
  • Naples: 65.5M€
  • AS Monaco: 62M€
  • Manchester United: 55M€
  • Espanyol: 40.5M€
  • Olympique Lyon: 38M€
  • Bayer Leverkusen: 35M€
  • Juventus Turin: 35M€
  • Flamengo: 34.55M€
  • Tottenham: 34.5M€

Each edition of the transfer market undoubtedly leaves us with surprising movements and transfers that many did not expect. For this reason, once the market period is over, it is time to evaluate which teams have invested the most money during the month of January.

Surprisingly, the Hertha Berlin tops the list, having spent a whopping 78 million euros on signings such as Lucas Tousart and Piatek. The German team was certainly not in anyone's guessing game to lead this list of clubs that have spent the most in the market.

Following closely is Naples, which is logical considering the difficult season for the partenopeos in this exercise. According to Transfermarkt data, the podium will be completed by AS Monaco, which has also moved a considerable amount of money. The first team from La Liga is Espanyol (5th in the entire market) and we highlight seeing Flamengo in the top 10, while the market in Brazil is still open.
