Carlos Preciado scores for Alianza Lima against Universitario de Deportes

The soul came back to the body. It took four long months for Carlos Preciado to reencounter with the goal. The Alianza Lima forward became Universitario de Deportes' worst nightmare and got excited about the Sudamericana.

"I thank God for scoring again. I think in the second half, they came out attacking and could have tied the game," Carlos Preciado said.

Carlos Preciado's goal came after a serious mistake by the Universitario de Deportes defence. Néstor Duarte trusted the ball and ended up eating it, then the Colombian took advantage of the spaces to hit Jose Carvallo's net.

Although the game ended in a draw, Carlos Preciado said: "The goal is to reach the Copa Sudamericana, the important thing about the game was not to lose, we are satisfied with this result and we still have to fight in the remaining matches."
