The goalkeeper of Dorados de Sinaloa Luis López was received as a hero in a taqueria in Culiacan after being key in obtaining a spot in the Copa MX Quarterfinals.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper was one of the protagonists in the second leg match against Chivas for the Copa MX Round of 16 by stopping the penalty taken by Miguel Ponce, who was the only player who missed his shot in the shootout. The save by the young goalkeeper from Culiacan was the one that secured Dorados' spot in the next round of the tournament.

Due to his great performance, a group of 'Gran Pez' fans who were at a taqueria were surprised when they saw Lopez arrive and did not hesitate to applaud and recognize him for his great work. The fans started shouting "goalkeeper" and some took the opportunity to take a photo as a keepsake with the goalkeeper.
Luis Lopez, who was a starter in Dorados' debut in the Clausura 2020 of the Ascenso MX, and the rest of his teammates will now focus on their next match against Atlante for Matchday 2 of the Liga de Plata.
